Botox & Dysport Injections
Botox and Dysport injections, the number one cosmetic aesthetic treatment in the country, are used to improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and crow’s feet in adults. Simple, non-surgical neuromodulators revitalize your forehead and eyes by smoothing out expression lines.
How Do Botox and Dysport Cosmetic Injections Work?
When our faces are animated by our expressions, we develop forehead lines, brow furrows, crow’s feet, and bunny lines (the vertical lines across the bridge of the nose). To combat this, neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport temporarily paralyze the corrugator, procerus, and orbicularis oculi muscles, all of which are responsible for horizontal surprise lines on the forehead, deep furrows—sometimes called “elevens”—between the brows, and crow’s feet.
Botox and Dysport block the nerve signals from the brain to these muscles, reducing activity and giving the skin the opportunity to relax. Over time, wrinkles in the skin fade. So if you’re concerned about fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes and forehead, but aren’t ready for a surgical treatment such as a facelift, either Botox or Dysport may be everything you need.
Am I a Good Candidate?
Most people concerned about forehead lines and wrinkles, brow furrows, or crow’s feet are good candidates. Those allergic to any ingredient in Botox or Dysport, have a skin infection in the treatment area, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a muscle or nerve condition may not be ideal patients for neuromodulator cosmetic treatments.
How Long Do Botox or Dysport Injections Take?
Botox and Dysport injections are one of the fastest treatments for forehead lines, brow furrows, and crow’s feet available today. Your session could be as quick as 10 minutes, or, depending on the number of treatment areas, as long as 30 minutes.
How Quickly Will I See Results?
Results with Botox or Dysport are not immediate, taking from 7-14 days before the onset of effectiveness. Depending on the patient, results usually last 3-5 months. The effects may extend beyond that for patients who’ve had repeated Botox or Dysport sessions.
Is There Any Downtime?
Most patients experience no downtime with Botox or Dysport, typically resuming their busy schedules immediately following the treatment.
**BOTOX® is also the only effective treatment for excessive sweating, called hyperhidrosis. For those confronted with this condition, it’s embarrassing and often leaves the patient feeling helpless. BOTOX® injections can temporarily relieve hyperhidrosis by blocking the nerve signals that trigger the sweat glands, so severe sweating is no longer an issue.

How Dermal Fillers Work
Dermal filler treatments work by using a hyaluronic acid gel-based injection in order to boost your skin’s volume while providing a naturally appearing and rejuvenated look. Dermal fillers can last between 6-12 months and require no downtime after treatment.
What Dermal Fillers Treat
Everyone’s skin is different, which is why your dermal filler treatment is personalized based on your skin care goals in order to give you a customized treatment with flawless results.
PDO THREAD LIFT
As we age, we begin to lose elasticity in our face, which can cause wrinkled, loose, or sunken in skin. The PDO thread lift uses synthetic sutures to gently lift and reposition baggy skin. Once the thread is in place, it remains underneath the skin to support and elevate a slackened complexion into a lifted, beautiful and V-shaped appearance.
By only using injections, the PDO thread lift will not only perk your features, but it will also fill facial hollows and deep-set areas. These anti-aging threads will be the most beneficial to your cheeks, neck, and lower facial region. However, the Thread Lift can be applied almost anywhere on the body. Anything from tightening your jowls, neck, and cheeks to a tighter tummy, or less prominent nasolabial folds. Also, this innovative skin tightening procedure is one of the newest FDA approved treatments in the industry.
PDO (polydioxanone) Threads work by using hypodermic needles, loaded with synthetic sutures. These threads are gently injected to create a support system beneath the skin. They will grasp onto the loose skin as they are repositioned and securely elevated. Once fastened, the threads will provide instant lifting effects. Furthermore, they will begin to create cellular renewal and collagen production to lift skin laxity and droopiness.
Popular Areas for PDO
Not only is this procedure nonsurgical, but it is also an instant facelift! The injected sutures produce an inflammatory response that is pinpointed to create new collagen. The controlled injury will encourage the body’s own natural healing process which allows for longer lasting results. By generating more of your own collagen you are enabling your skin to remain lifted long after the threads have dissolved. Therefore, you can experience longer more cutting-edge results with the PDO Thread Lift.
This nonsurgical facelift treatment is ideal for those who would like to avoid surgery, but would like subtle results. The PDO Thread Lift is also optimal for people who have undergone previous surgeries and need a few touch-ups or corrections. PDO Threads can also be incorporated with other anti-aging procedures.
DIMINISH YOUR DOUBLE CHIN WITH A TREATMENT TAILORED TO YOU!
KYBELLA® is administered as a series of injections to the treatment area under the chin, destroying fat cells and producing gradual results. Everyone's chin profile is different, so your aesthetic provider will tailor treatment to you. The number of treatment sessions will vary based on the amount of fat under the chin and your treatment goals.
KYBELLA® MAY BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
WHAT IS KYBELLA®?
KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine and is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”
HOW DOES KYBELLA® WORK?
The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, and once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat. This results in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin, revealing an improved chin profile.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Your specialist will create a tailored treatment plan based on your chin profile. At each treatment, you will be given multiple small injections under your chin. You may receive up to 6 treatment sessions, spaced at least 1 month apart. Many patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 KYBELLA® treatments. 59% of patients received 6 treatments in clinical studies.
HOW LONG WILL RESULTS LAST?
When injected into fat under the chin, KYBELLA® causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat. After reaching your desired aesthetic, further treatment is not expected.
Are spider veins causing you discomfort and stealing your self-confidence?
Spider veins are more than a simple cosmetic problem. They can ache, itch, burn, or throb, and they’re frequently responsible for sleeping difficulty. These veins may also be a superficial indication of a deeper problem. Sclerotherapy is considered the gold standard of venous health therapies.
How Does Sclerotherapy Work?
Spider veins are tiny veins, usually less than 1 mm, presenting red, blue, or purple in color. They do not cause swelling or pain, and generally don’t contribute to other health issues. They can, however, become varicose veins, which are much larger and can cause discomfort, blood clots or poor wound healing. It’s important to treat spider veins to avoid future complications.
Sclerotherapy is the FDA-approved treatment of choice for spider veins, and it is minimally invasive. A sclerosing agent is directly injected into the vein via a tiny needle to irritate the lining of the vein, causing scar tissue to form or venous collapse. Either outcome seals the veins, at which point the body reabsorbs them and blood flow is redirected to healthier veins. Multiple sessions may be required to reduce all the problematic veins in the treatment area. Not only are the veins’ appearance diminished, but pain and other side effects these damaged veins cause are also greatly reduced.
Am I a Good Candidate?
Several criteria are considered when assessing a patient’s candidacy for sclerotherapy, including a complete medical history and consideration of vascular issues. Typical sclerotherapy patients have realistic expectations of the results, including the understanding that treatment does not stop future spider veins from forming. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are not ideal candidates.
How Long Does a Typical Treatment Last?
While it depends on the number of injections necessary to treat a patient’s spider veins, typically appointments last 30-60 minutes. Patients tolerate the procedure well and without anesthesia.
How Quickly Will I See Results?
Reduction in the appearance of veins takes place over 4-6 weeks, and patients generally require 3-5 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart. Larger veins may take 3-4 months to show a definitive reduction. Sclerotherapy has a success rate of 60-80% reduction in treated veins.
Is There Any Downtime?
There is no extensive recovery or downtime. Many patients are immediately able to return to work the same day. Compression socks may be recommended after your sclerotherapy session, and ibuprofen or aspirin should be avoided as they can interfere with the clotting process. Staying active will reduce the chance of clots, though high impact exercise shouldn’t be attempted until a few days after your procedure. Tell your practitioner about any travel plans that include flying.
Laser Skin Rejuvenation
Laser skin rejuvenation is a minimally invasive, non-surgical process that uses an infrared light source (a laser) to tighten skin by heating the collagen under the skin’s surface, causing the skin to contract (tighten). Facial skin tightening is noticeable immediately after the treatment, and there is no downtime, making this an increasingly popular procedure. Additional skin tightening occurs over the next few months, but optimal results usually require two or three treatments about a month apart.
Laser skin rejuvenation is a FDA approved method for the reduction of fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity. Laser skin rejuvenation treatment also encourages the growth of new collagen in the treated areas and promotes the absorption of more collagen from surrounding, untreated areas. With the regeneration of natural collagen, laser skin tightening patients immediately begin to notice smoother, softer skin and a more youthful appearance. The effects continue to improve over the next few months following laser skin tightening treatment, as the skin’s natural stores of collagen are gradually replenished.
While laser skin rejuvenation results may not be as dramatic as those of a face-lift, patients enjoy moderate results with no downtime. An added benefit of laser skin rejuvenation is that it is safe and effective for restoring a more firm, youthful appearance to skin all over the body. Read on to learn more about the benefits of laser skin rejuvenation treatment.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal (LHR) can help our patients achieve smoother skin and permanently reduce the amount of hair in areas where they don’t want it. This treatment focuses laser energy into the treated hair follicles, destroying the hair at the root and preventing future regrowth. Unlike more localized approaches to treatment such as electrolysis or tweezing, LHR can treat many hairs at the same time and it is a popular choice for larger areas such as the legs, back, and chest.
Are You a Candidate?
During treatment, we may begin by numbing the area to be treated with a topical gel if the area is particularly sensitive or if you are concerned about maximizing your comfort. Your treatment professional at Sculpt Medical Spa, holds your skin tight and moves the LHR handpiece slowly over the skin as it administers pulses of laser light. Treatment may take anywhere from just a few minutes for a smaller area to over an hour for full treatment of the legs or back.
Results vary from patient to patient depending on factors such as the color and thickness of your hair, your skin color, and the area being treated. After each treatment session, you will be able to see less and less hair. Once the treatment series is complete, most of our patients do not have any noticeable hair on the treated skin for several months or even years. And, when hair growth does resume, in many cases the hairs are thinner, lighter and less numerous than when the first treatment was started.
What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is a non-surgical skin repair method that uses a growth factor from the patient’s blood to rejuvenate skin. When used for the face, a nominal amount of blood is taken from the patient and placed in an apparatus that divides the platelets from the blood. The platelets are injected into damaged areas of the skin. Once the platelets are injected, the “growth factors”, which are proteins that repair damaged tissue, stimulate the cells to build more collagen and smooth out the wrinkles in the skin. The skin will have more volume, elasticity and a youthful improved texture. The skin will also begin to tighten and become stronger.
It’s important to understand that it’s a safe procedure and especially effective because the patient’s own blood is used for the treatment. It’s ideal for skin damage caused by photo-aging, acne, scarring from surgery and volume loss. Injections are typically done around the eyes and cheeks to firm sagging skin and fine lines. The neck, hands and upper arms are common problem areas that are often treated. It’s also a suggested treatment for women who have lost some skin laxity after being pregnant and it’s a fantastic treatment for stretch marks, as well as the conditions listed below.
What is the SkinPen Microneedling with PRP Facial?
The Plasma Facial (aka PRP Facial) procedure uses your body’s naturally occurring platelet-rich plasma (PRP) found in your blood, as an anti-aging and skin rejuvenation agent. The treatment utilizes the platelet-rich plasma to create a platelet-rich fibrin matrix that when administered via SkinPen Microneedling, stimulates your own body to produce naturally occurring collagen to smooth wrinkles and fill the areas where volume is needed, as well as rejuvenating the skin. Results can be dramatic, lasting and more importantly, natural looking.
PRP Facial Benefits
In addition to obvious benefits of smoother skin and a more youthful appearance, you can expect a professional and comfortable experience. Allergic or adverse reactions are extremely rare since the process uses your own blood.

WHAT IS AN IPL (INTENSE PULSED LIGHT) PHOTO FACIAL?
The IPL Photo Facial is a treatment for the skin using the photo rejuvenation process, and it represents a breakthrough in age-defying skin care. This technique treats skin damage in a non-invasive way and typically causes no disruption of the skin’s epidermal surface.
Furthermore, the treatment doesn’t require downtime.
Photofacial treatments are used to treat a variety of skin conditions including rosacea, redness, sun damage, pigmentation, age spots, fine lines, enlarged pores, acne scarring and other blemishes. Delivering gentle improvements, an IPL photo facial’s pulsed light can give your skin a younger appearance. Your skin can appear naturally even-toned and healthy, without the artificial look of other cosmetics.
What can be treated by an IPL Photofacial?
Aging skin is normally characterized by the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, sagging skin, crow’s feet around the eyes and the loss of elasticity. Because the skin is aging and has had more exposure to the sun, it will begin to lose volume, become dry and develop brown spots.
Tiny blood vessels become more noticeable at the skin’s surface in the form of a spider web or tree branch shape. The broken capillaries or spider veins often appear as red or blue in color.
The face develops redness from hundreds of small-dilated blood vessels near the skin’s facial surface. Facial flushing can result in itchy inflamed skin that may sweat and blister from the condition.
When the skin has too much exposure to the sun, it can develop fine lines, become dry, wrinkle and lose elasticity. The UV light causes collagen loss, so the skin won’t spring back, resulting in sagging and an uneven skin tone.
Brown spots are often referred to as age spots. They’re flat and usually occur on sun-exposed areas.
Rosacea is a skin condition that usually results in redness on the face. Symptoms are typically pimples, dilated blood vessels, and pus-filled bumps that are often located on the forehead, nose chin and cheeks.
Blotchy skin is a reference to a skin discoloration that is characterized by irregular patches on the skin. The patchy skin may appear in a red, brown or gray color on the face, arms, chest and legs, accompanied by itching.
Skin redness, also referred to as erythema, is an irregular condition that occurs with flushing of the skin. This abnormality is often accompanied with itching and swelling.
Varicose veins or spider veins that are visible on the face are also called facial veins. The blood vessels become dilated and are usually noticeable on the forehead, cheeks, nose and eyelids.
Is a skin condition that causes tan or dark patchy discolorations on the skin. It often occurs in pregnant woman, but can also be triggered by sun exposure and birth control pills.
Facial pigmentation occurs when the skin on the face produces too much melanin, resulting in darker skin. Sun exposure and pregnancy can result in facial pigmentation.
Age spots are brown spots that develop from the over production of melanin. They gradually happen as people age or from UV rays and tanning beds.
Older skin can become discolored with the appearance of brown spots, which are also identified as age spots. Over exposure to the sun’s UV rays is also a cause of liver spots.
Freckles are the small brown spots on the skin that appear on the face and arms. When melanin in the skin reacts to sunlight, freckles may multiply and dominate a whole area of skin, which is usually the face.

What is the Feminine Rejuvenation Shot (O-Shot)?
If you’re struggling with feminine issues like lack of a sex drive, inability to reach orgasm, vaginal dryness, lack of sex drive, chronic infections, and even stress urinary incontinence, you may see relief with the Feminine Rejuvenation Shot (O-Shot)!
How Does The Feminine Rejuvenation Shot Work?
The Feminine Rejuvenation shot (O-Shot) uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to alleviate many feminine symptoms, including vaginal dryness during sex, lack of sex drive, chronic infections, stress urinary incontinence, and difficulty reaching orgasm. The platelets are removed from a few teaspoons of your blood, cleansed, and prepared in a special gel that triggers the platelets’ growth activators. This solution is then injected into key areas of the clitoris labia, and vaginal canal opening.
Am I a Good Candidate For The Female Rejuvenation Shot?
You’re a good candidate for this treatment if you suffer from any of the symptoms listed above!
How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
The entire procedure takes anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the exact issues you’d like to address.
What Results Will I See?
You should start seeing an improvement in your symptoms about one to two weeks after your Feminine Rejuvenation Shot treatment. Keep in mind that you may need more than one treatment to see your ideal results. These results include:
Is There Any Downtime?
There’s no downtime associated with your Feminine Rejuvenation Shot, so you’ll be able to continue with your normal routine. However, you may notice some redness and sensitivity at the injection sites, so you may want to avoid intercourse for the first 24-48 hours after your treatment.
SkinPen Microneedling – Collagen Induction Therapy
The wisdom that comes with age does not also have to come with aging skin. You can have the best of both worlds, experience and healthy, glowing skin. Sculpt Medical Spa can help you put your best face forward with SkinPen Microneedling collagen induction therapy.
How Does SkinPen Microneedling Work?
Over time, collagen and elastin, the body’s natural defense against aging, start to break down. Sculpt Medical Spa uses the SkinPen®, the most advanced microneedling tool on the market, to induce the body’s natural ability to create new, healthy skin. Microneedling involves a series of micro-punctures with tiny, sterile needles that spark the body’s healing and promote the growth of new, younger skin. It is a safe, effective treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, and skin texture.
Not just any micromeedling treatment will do. Other dermarollers bend, break, and sometimes even rust, resulting in infection or scarring that is often worse than the problems they’re attempting to treat. The SkinPen®’s needles are sterile and designed to penetrate the dermis at a 90-degree angle for optimal stimulation of collagen and elastin.
What Areas of the Body Does SkinPen Microneedling Treat?
The versatility of the SkinPen® is what makes it such a vital part of Sculpt Medical Spa’s microneedling treatment. Inferior dermarollers only treat the face, but the SkinPen® can be used on all parts of the body, including:
This means stretch marks and acne scarring in areas other than the face can be treated.
Am I a Good Candidate?
Each patient’s skin and areas of concern differ; therefore we will address the number of sessions and depth of treatment during your consultation for the best possible outcome. Anyone seeking skin improvements through SkinPen Microneedling collagen induction therapy is a good candidate.
How Long Does a SkinPen Microneedling Treatment Last?
SkinPen Microneedling sessions can take about an hour from start to finish depending on the size of the area being targeted.
How Quickly Will I See Results?
For many patients, it’s possible to see immediate improvement. However, the body’s natural healing process can take weeks, so initial improvements will increase over time. It’s not unusual for your skin to heal over 3-6 months following your SkinPen Microneedling session. The number of treatments required depends on the amount of skin damage you’re hoping to repair and your individual goals. Patients typically have 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Patients with deeper wrinkles, acne scarring, or stretch marks may need as many as 6-8 treatments. We also recommend annual maintenance SkinPen Microneedling sessions.
Is There Any Downtime?
Total healing depends on the severity of damaged skin. Average patients experience 2-4 days of redness and sensitivity (much like a sunburn), though some heal completely within 24 hours.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is used in hair restoration for natural looking results.
With a thin needle, your own Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is injected into the scalp. PRP Hair Restoration is suitable for both men and women. It is a state of the art, non-surgical, totally natural, alternative medical procedure used for the treatment of hair loss or hair thinning. It is an injectable treatment which uses the patient’s own blood. PRP contains active growth factors, which stimulate hair growth and regrowth. The end result is a fuller, healthier looking head of hair that can help to restore one’s confidence.
PLATELET RICH PLASMA THERAPY: WHAT IT IS AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
The clinician takes a small blood sample. That sample is then treated in a centrifuge to separate the reparative cells, or platelets, from the other types blood components, like red blood cells. The PRP has a highly concentrated number of platelets in plasma, which release essential growth proteins. This mix is injected into the scalp using a small, thin needle. It is possible to use PRP Hair Loss Therapy alone to promote hair growth. However we recommend it be used in combination with at home products to enhance the results.
WHAT ARE PRP HAIR REGROWTH TREATMENTS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?
PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma for hair regrowth is an in-office, non-surgical, autologous treatment (derived from the patient’s own blood) that can be performed in about 30 minutes. After the area of concern is identified, evaluated and measured, standardized medical photos are taken in the photo suite. Special sterile techniques and equipment are used to separate and concentrate the platelets and plasma from a small sample of peripheral blood. PRP contains growth factors and cytokines that have been shown to stimulate and enhance hair follicle function. Small injections of the PRP deliver the powerful platelet-derived growth factors into the skin at the level of the weak follicles.
WHO IS THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR PRP TREATMENTS FOR HAIR LOSS?
We focus on two types of hair loss patients when it comes to PRP treatments: chronic hair loss (male and female pattern balding) and acute hair loss (ex: post partum hair loss). In our experience, patients with areas of “weak quality” hair growth on the scalp, where functioning hair follicles can still be observed, are the patients who appear to have the greatest success with PRP hair regrowth treatments. Those with “shiny” bald spots and long standing balding are NOT the best candidates.
HOW DOES COMBINING PRP TREATMENTS WITH AT HOME VITAMINS AND TOPICAL PRODUCTS HELP WITH THE OVERALL RESULTS OF TREATMENT?
Our clinical team has carefully chosen products, which enhance the outcomes of PRP treatments by preparing the scalp for the action of topical serums and PRP injections. They restore volume and strength to existing follicles and prolong the growth phase of the follicle life cycle. In addition, these products promote nutritional exchanges in the hair bulb by increasing scalp circulation and reduce stress hormones and inflammation, which will weaken the follicles.
WHEN CAN YOU EXPECT RESULTS FROM PRP AND HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?
It can take up to six to twelve months to judge the results of PRP “visually” in the mirror, although most clients begin to notice results at 3 months. Standardized photos will be taken before each PRP Hair Restoration treatment, so improvement can be tracked. After the treatment phase, the average hereditary hair loss patient can expect to need a PRP treatment once every 6-12 months to maintain results.
WHAT ARE THE RISKS AND BENEFITS OF PRP TREATMENTS?
PRP is a comfortable, in-office, non-surgical procedure that takes about 30 minutes start-to-finish. Most of that time is spent in the preparation phase. Patients with certain blood disorders or on certain medications are not candidates for PRP treatments. PRP is immunologically neutral and poses little risk of allergy, hypersensitivity or foreign-body reactions. At Sculpt Medial Spa, we use the Eclipse system of kits and centrifuges to assist in a consistent quality of preparation of PRP.
HOW LONG DO THE BENEFITS OF PRP TREATMENTS LAST?
According to published reports, PRP tends to improve hair caliber and hair growth for about four to six weeks, requiring repeated treatments once a month for 3 months. On average, however, most patients will require their repeat PRP treatment after 6-12 months in order to maintain the hair growth effects.
